  • Accompanying to the cinema or theatre

Enabling you to become more involved within the community.

Engaging in community-based activities has a number of benefits for our health and wellbeing. Not only does it help prevent feelings of social isolation and loneliness, many of these activities provide gentle exercise and mental stimulation which keeps us active and engaged. Meeting new people or regularly catching up with old friends can also greatly improve our mood.

These activities enable people with dementia to continue taking part in hobbies and interests they may have enjoyed in previous years, learn a new skill, something which may not have thought was possible.
